The Actors Center Fall Lottery Auditions
The Actors' Center will hold its Fall lottery auditions on Monday, November 9, and Tuesday, November 10, 2026. The open call gives actors in the DC metro area the chance to audition for The Actors' Center's general pool and be considered for upcoming casting opportunities in theatre and on-camera.

About the Event
Schedule: Auditions run both days from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and again from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Actors are seen in groups of ten every half hour.
Monday, November 9: Monologues only — classical or contemporary.
Tuesday, November 10: Musical auditions with a live accompanist provided; monologues are also welcome.
Each actor receives one audition slot. After a brief introduction of the actor and their piece, actors will have up to 90 seconds to perform a memorized monologue or song of their choosing.
Advance submission required: Actors must submit a headshot and resume in advance for inclusion in The Actors' Center's virtual portfolio, which will be made available to auditors.

Auditions will be professionally recorded on video and, with the consent of the actors, posted on the AC YouTube channel for the review of auditors and whatever use the actor may wish (reels, professional webpage content, etc.). Any actor may also decline to be recorded. It will not affect whether or not they are chosen in the lottery.
For Auditors
Lunch will be provided for auditors from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., with refreshments available at breaks every 90 minutes or as needed.

Volunteer to Help
Actors' Center members interested in volunteering to assist on either day, for either the early or late shifts, should contact John Judy at JJudy@actorscenter.org.
