Green Room
The Green Room at the Silver Spring Black Box Theatre is designed first and foremost as a comfortable and versatile support space for performers, production teams, and event staff. While often used in conjunction with theatre rentals, the Green Room is also available as a standalone rental, making it a flexible option for rehearsals, meetings, and small gatherings.
Capacity
The space can accommodate up to 35 people and is furnished with multiple couches, armchairs, and dining tables with chairs. Its seating variety makes it a practical hub for artists preparing to go onstage, crew coordinating behind the scenes, or small groups working in a collaborative environment.
Timing
Rental options are available by the hour, day, or week, allowing the Green Room to fit seamlessly into your production schedule or independent event.
Pricing
We proudly offer discounted rental rates for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, making the Green Room both affordable and accessible for a wide range of uses.
Included Facilities
The Green Room features a kitchenette for light food and beverages, as well as ample seating options. This setup is especially useful for cast and crew breaks, production planning, or pre- and post-show activities. While functional at its core, the room also provides enough comfort and flexibility to serve as a casual meeting or breakout space when rented on its own.
